I was just wondering if there's any goat people out there. YES, GOAT people. Anybody who has goats. I'm going to show my goats VERY soon, and I am wondering if any people out there have any tips. Anyone? (And chicken lovers too :>)

I moved it to Reading and Playing, since raising animals is more of an activity than creating something.

oh I love goats we don't own any but they're so cute when I was little we went to a petting zoo with goats and they were surrounding me and smashing the heads into my butt it was really funny I might get some goats but I don't know where to get them and I've heard that they're really destructive

Goat person here! I have four Pygora wethers - they're a really fun bunch, albeit a little troublesome at times. However, I've never shown them, so I'm afraid I can't help you on that Our family owns 2 Ameraucana hens as well, though we've had other chickens in the past.

Haha. Yeah, well they're a lot of work. You also have to have at least 1 other goat or else the first goat will git really lonely, and may get sick from not having anyone to play with. Unless you'll sleep with it and play with it the whole day, I suggest if youre getting goats you need to have at least 1 other goats. I have pygmies. (O.O LOOK THEM UP!)
