Needing help with a FNAF FAN GAME..

I need help with a fangame i am making called ‘'PHANTOMS’',it is based off of Scott Cawthon's famous five nights at freddy's.Do not report this topic,however,the art used is cartoonlike vector,and the backstory isn't very bad.So,How can I detect an animatronic,which sends a message to the camera saying which room it is in?how does preventing an animatronic from coming into your room and jumpscaring the heck out of you work?if you have ANYTHING to help with this,please tell me

Before you spend a lot of time coding it, please note the Scratch Team doesn't allow horror games. That's because it's supposed to be family safe, so a 6 year old won't get scared.

So, to be clear, FNAF games are allowed, but there can't be anything scary, like jumpscares.

Hm,well there is jumpscares…As each fnaf game is bound to have them,resulting as you losing the game.And yw!,but like I said,the backstory isn't very bad,and it's made in cartoon-like vector.

It involves jumpscares,and animatronics in a pizza place trying to hunt you down and jumpscare you.So,would that be okay….?
