So the file that I uploaded is just the swf file. You will need flash to play it. It isn't the complete air installer.

There is some sort of code signing thing going on in the offline editor.

Excuse my ignorance but I am not entirely sure what you mean by code signing.

The adobe AIR installer package has to be code signed but the SWF file isn't code signed at all. To open files though you have to make sure that you have given the appropriate permissions within flash player to open local files (this is a security setting within flash player).

I didn't have to setup these permissions with the AIR installer package. Maybe you will have better luck with that. You can find it here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8VD2SJxIyv-V3JPZVhiYm1zdlE/view?usp=sharing

Using the AIRSDK command line option adl and running the swf file I have no issues running it on even newly built computers (not my development system). I also can't seem to get any error at all when using flash player to open the swf file locally.

The only thing I actually use this for is in offline editor mode. I guess if you can give me some more details I will look into what you are talking about. The only code change we did from the actual live Scratch git repo was the change to the stage sizes, variable display sizes on the stage, and embedding some extra fonts. We didn't add in any sort of code signing above whatever the MIT group put in the original scratch code.

But again if you can elaborate a bit I can see whats going on.

This is great! I've suggested this at one point for 1.4, which I don't think has seen a mod like this yet.

Hey, I think I'm going to try and make a GUI dark theme mod or something. I will post here with updates when/if it works.

EDIT: I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. I'll see if I can figure it out when I get back.

This thread is a bit old and your project seems to be a bit different. Please make a new thread instead of using someone else's - that way conversation is more organized.
