I think the Scratch Team was just trying to listen to our complaints. People were complaining about Google before they pulled up this nicer-looking (and most likely WIP) explore page and there was even a suggestion to get rid of it because it violated the privacy policy.

Anyways, some people don't seem to trust Google.

I think we should just sit patiently in our seats and hope that the ST is still putting on some finishing touches to the explore page.

I always liked the google search. It gave me accurate results, and I honestly don't think any ad company will be inter3sted if we search up ‘Griffpatch’.

For those of you people who were saying that you don't like the new search engine because it rates remixes higher that are less popular - maybe that is because for it to get the deserved attention, it needs to be viewed. Why does popularity have to affect where in the resuls something goes. In the announcement, Scratch said they had tweaked it to prioritise newer results. Also, if it is a remix of something good, it might be better than the original project. And.. the project with the remix has a link to your original project.

Google search sends all your searches for Google, to make your results more accurate. Perhaps Cortana does the same?
