Please Change the new search feature!!!!

Oh my goodness guys.
New new searching feature is horrable!

Please scratch save us, save us!

Ok, I'm trying to search for a discussion that I can't find in the discussion fourm, but the annoying new feature directs me to the Explore page!!!!
If want a Mario project, it gives me projects that aren't even close to relavant because the other ones don't have that tag!!!
GET RID OF THE NEW VERSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(or at least change it)

Support for using AJAX rather than changing the URI, it is a bit annoying to see a white screen when switching sections.

At 10:42 am EDT when i make this post, 0 forums posts come up in search. I think it was better when the discussion search bar was separate from the explore one.
The blue search text present on the forums also has no way of inputting text… (woops)

No Support, I don't want it to be changed, the search engine looks fine, ST might going to add forums and users to the search engine, for now use google , Sorry.

While I honestly think this is a problem, I actually prefer the current way of searching projects.

Here is my suggestion- Keep the search system, but add tabs for the Forums, users, etc. Unless they are working at it right now…

The forums and users searches were actually useful.
Forums was quite useful to find duplicates (and I actually link to the searches themselves

) if you could stand the irrelevant studios and User Search was good enough that it picked me up instantly as first result

The ST just could've fixed the Google Search Engine and I could've called it a day.

But how would it work? The *new* search engine use project previews. Users could work if it was displayed in a list with the usernames.
Forums can't work with previews unless it's the Google Search style.

Half support… how about something less rude and just ask for a discussion tab, users tab, and studios tab, with more accurate results.
I remember back in 2013, when we had a non-Google hosted accurate search.Then we got mad about Google!

However, please try to keep your titles as calm as possible (don't say DESTROY THE FEATURE!!!!!)
Since this is long-discussed and the ST is already looking into it, this thread looks resolved to me.

More reasons why the new search engine is quite bad:

In the first image, a remix gets placed higher than my own project. I'm fine with remixes on the search but I'm not fine with a less-popular remix shown higher than the original project. The red box shows the remix and the green box shows the the original project that I created.
In the second image, that's what you get for searching a project exactly- irrelevant results. C'mon, at least Google search was better than this!*
*Note that I actually searched it a couple of times with the old search engine and it appeared first result…

It was just released, please give it some time. I'm certain the ST will fix things and add searching for users and posts.

As a long time Scratcher, I have found new meaning to the name “Scratch”: for me, it means to “scratch that itch”, to come back again and again to realize new ideas in this toy language, even when I'm capable of creating my projects in real programming languages years later. It's a friend that helped me to pursue programming and get me to enjoy its fruit. I'm certain many others who have walked this path as well have grown fond of its importance in their life.

The original search engine had all the tabs the day it was released.

This new one sorts projects only by relevance and how popular they are, instead of just what it is.
