Can you email projects?
My son has just made his first Scratch card using the online tutorial. Is there a way we can email it directly to people, or do they have to view it on the site? We'd like to send it to grandparents who would open an email but wouldn't search a site. Thanks

If HTML works in their email, you can embed the player in the email. Just click “share to” and copy the embed code.

Or just email a link. Or are the grandparents in question too paranoid for that?

There are a couple of things that you can do:
That's all I can think of. Scratch on!
- Use HTML code. Using the share option, you can put HTML code into your email with the Scratch project.
- Copy the URL. Copy the URL of the project and paste it into the email.
That's all I can think of. Scratch on!

Can you email projects?
I want to share a project with my cousin who is a scratcher, but I don't want to share it with everyone. How do I do this?

sometimes embed works, sometimes it doesn't (for example, apparently my wordpress blog DOES NOT like scratch embed codes.

And, you can save the .sb2 file of the project and email it to them. Or just email a link. Or are the grandparents in question too paranoid for that?

Considering that this topic is old and has been resolved, I would say that this topic is already “dead”. Folks, please check the date of the topic and make sure that you have new and relevant information to add before bumping a “dead” thread.
Since it's a general question - and it keeps coming up - I don't think it is dead.

Control C on the URL when it is open. Then Control V on the email you are sending. Here is an example of me using Control V: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/41304756/
NOTE: That project has nothing to do with your question I was just showing you how it will look and that you can actually click on it and go to a project.

Since this topic hasn't seen a new post from the topic owner in a long time, I'm going to assume that it is dead and close the topic. If it still is alive, the topic owner just needs to use the Report button to ask a mod to reopen it
