Music That Makes you Cry
Anyone who has claimed to have watched and listen to this without crying is a liar.
I'm very easily prone to sad stories about robots…and this one is just….the saddest thing. I first heard it in a video game unaware how sad it is. Now I pretty much cry every time I hear it. Those last three notes always do it for me.

The whole album ‘Worlds’ by Porter Robinson, when listened to in it's entirety. All the feels build up throughout it, and Goodbye to a World (last song on the album) triggers a release of all the built up emotions. I've never cried from it, but I will admit I teared up quite a bit.

Music That Makes you Cry
At the moment, this one seems quite sad. I never cried, it just made me feel miserable. The song is for Amy Lee's 3 year old sister who died. She was 6 when that happened.
But when I was little I'd cry like a little baby when I heard this one.

From Undertale:
- “Undertale”
- “Bergentrückung” and “ASGORE”
- “Finale”
- “Hopes and Dreams” and “Save the World”
- “Bring it in Guys”
Except for “Finale”, they can make me cry my eyes out.

Some of the themes of Shadow the Hedgehog (the game, not the 'edgehog), such as Chosen One, are quite……. sad.
Wish I may
Wish I might
be someone else tonight
Sometimes I wish I was never born at all
And I try to save the world
'Cause in the end I know
I'm the chosen one
The chosen one
The chosen one
I'm the chosen one
I'm the chosen one

The Milky Way Wishes credits song makes me happy-sad. This song symbolizes after all you the challenges you conquered triumphantly… you journey is finally over. The names of the creators of this amazing game scroll by as you remember your journey…
Also, The King and the Setting Sun. Poor Dedede…

This one. It's in French and it's not that sad… until you look up the meaning…
:`(
Curse you papa
Tell me where you’re hiding
I must’ve counted my fingers
At least a thousand times
When a child plays hide-and-seek, he does the countdown with his fingers. Here, the child does not play hide and seek with his classmates but with his father, and apparently for a long time…
Without even having to talk to him
He knows what’s wrong
This sentence out of context could make us believe that the boy’s father is exemplary and his paternal instinct highly developed (we always talk about the maternal instinct, forgetting that there is also the paternal instinct). In fact, it seems that someone (the mother?) had told the boy that his father was always there for him, he knew him even from a distance. The child apparently seems to believe his father is alive.
Here is the irony: a father who does not speak with his child and who is absent cannot know what’s wrong.

Papoutai! That made me close to crying because I learnt what happened Stromae and his father. ~snip~
It's actually seldom that I have cried or have been on the verge of crying because of a song.
I think River Flows In You - Yiruma made me almost cry once.
Naruto OSTs that reflect sadness, especially Grief and Sorrow, have made me cry at least once.

Pink Floyd's “Echoes” makes me sad because it reminds me of Hal's death.
HIGHLIGHT FOR SPOILERS.
This is because if you line up the 2001 edit of “Echoes” it matches scarily well with 2001: A Space Odyssey's final section in the movie, ‘Jupiter and Beyond’. By this point Hal has been deactivated, and Dave is leaving the ship to meet the Monolith. While Hal does come back in 2010, it's still sad to think that he was asleep, alone and left to potentially orbit Jupiter until Discovery was drawn in.
Another note, in 2010, he is reactivated, but he has to sacrifice himself to save the crew of the Leonov, which he does willingly. All he wanted was the truth. As far as I'm concerned, he does dream.
One last note: According to the books, he joins with Dave to be beings devoid of physical form, and for all intents and purposes are a part of the Universe. They must ultimately die to save humanity.
So yep. Hal feels.

There are many that hit me with the feels all at once, but I'm going to dedicate my list to closing tracks that never fail to make me emotional. There's nothing I love better than when an album I'm liking gives me a fantastically heartwrenching ending. (Limited to a maximum of three per artist; also only to ones that have given me genuine goosebumps. There are more awesome album closers I love, but these ones are my life.)
Extra Kings - The Avalanches
Saturday Night Inside Out - The Avalanches
Clean - Depeche Mode
Higher Love - Depeche Mode
Insight - Depeche Mode
(I love the other Depeche Mode closers too, but these ones are the most emotional for me)
Baby - Gotye
Night Drive - Gotye
Bronte - Gotye
My Weakness - Moby
I'm Not Worried At All - Moby
Homeward Angel - Moby
Eventuality - Lemon Demon
The Too Much Song - Lemon Demon
Spiral of Ants - Lemon Demon
Run With The Hunted - Skyhill
Road To Nowhere - Talking Heads
Cool Water - Talking Heads
The Man-Machine - Kraftwerk
The Start of the Breakdown - Tears For Fears
Listen - Tears For Fears
Famous Last Words - Tears For Fears
Cloudburst On Shingle Street - Thomas Dolby
Budapest By Blimp - Thomas Dolby
To The Lifeboats - Thomas Dolby
The Small Hours - Matt Berry

Music That Makes you Cry
While these songs don't outright make me cry they are pretty sad, especially if you know their context. There's Battle Against a True Hero from Undertale and In the Morning Sun from PMD Sky.
