In a Japanese trailer it is revealed that each island has its own guardian Pokemon.

Many new Pokemon were revealed in a Japnese trailer, and here they are: Charjabug, a bug-electric type, and its evolution, Vikavolt (also bug-electic.) There is also Drampa, the first normal-dragon type.Then there is Bruxish, a water-psychic type. Cutiefly, a bug-fairy type, and finally, Tapu Koko, an electric-fairy type, and the guardian of Melemele island.

New abilities: vivid body (that is the Japanese name.) It stops the opponent from using moves with increased priority. Electric maker (Japanese name again): Puts the battlefield under the same effect that the move electric terrain does. Frenzy (Another Japanese name): When a Pokemon with this ability gets to low health, its special attack increases. Swarm change (hope they reveal the English name for this one soon): When the Pokemon with this ability either gets to low health or gets hit by a super-effective move, the change into Zygarde complete form.

The Pokemon Pikipek, Yungoos, and Ledyba will all be avalible on Alola Route 1.

The Pokemon the professor shows you at the beginning is revealed to be a Rockruff.

New Pokemon: Salandit. Salandit is a poison/fire type. New ability: corrosion. A Pokemon with corrosion can poison any Pokemon type.

Two new Pokemon and two ability revealed (all under their Japanese names.) Kiteruguma is a normal/fighting type. Mimikkyu is a ghost/fairy type, and wears a disguise that looks like a Pikachu. The two new abilities, disguise and fluffy. Their effect is currently unknown.
