I'm considering doing an EP or at least a single, but I don't know when I'll have time to record it.

Yep. But his career goes all the way back to the 70's. He was one of the first artists to experiment with electronic and ambient textures in a pop/rock context, and he's also produced influential albums for David Bowie, U2, and Coldplay. He was also originally a part of the brilliant glam rock group Roxy Music in the early 70's.
