Should Political Chatrooms, Discussions, and Studios be allowed?
I've been wondering this for a long time since I've seen many projects/studios that are just about hating on Trump or Hillary or some other political figure or just to talk about and give you opinion. Are these allowed? How far can this go? I'm just wondering because I don't think that these discussions make friends and may just make you enemies. I don't think they should be allowed because of the rule on the Scratch guideline “Be Respectful”, and I assume this also applies to people not on scratch(ex. Hillary or Obama). What do you think? I wasn't really sure where to put this topic, so I just put it here because I think it falls into a question about Scratch. It seems like there are better places to have arguments on which person you will vote for than a website designed for kids!

If I was making a project promoting Bernie Sanders, it would be okay.
However, if I made a project trashing Donald Trump, it would not be okay.
Same if you swap the names.

I've already had a post deleted for that reason so I would say they are not allowed.

Even though political projects aren't reportable, you should listen to what footsocktoe said. It's best not to discuss touchy topics on Scratch.

We keep religion, politics etc. off the forums but you're free to discuss them elsewhere on the site as long as it's respectful. Please do report anything that crosses the line though.Political projects are not allowed. You should report them. Are political comments, studios, and forum posts also not allowed?

Somebody called Hillary Clinton a bad word on a comment. That deserves to be reported, but what about the forum posts?

Should I report them?Firstly, please don't necropost, this topic was old and already resolved. About your question, ANY post anywhere that contains a bad word should be reported, whether it's about politics or not.

Should I report them?Reporting is the best way to deal with it. Sharing strong opinions about strong subjects just isn't allowed here. I've tried posting truthful arguments and it doesn't go well.

So, best to report it.
