Sad Films & Sad Songs

I don't really cry during sad things, but a sad film (that tears your heart apart) is Freak the Mighty. It's also a book, we did a unit on it in Language Arts. ;v;
OMG, I ALSO WATCHED AND READ IT TOO AS AN ELA CURRICULUM!!!!

Highlight for spoiler. Freak, the short but smart kid, dies. Still, that film interests me because one of the major concepts is King Author, which also interests me because of SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT.

Ahem, the song “Almost Dead”, the Dark theme from Shadow the Hedgehog, was kinda dark and sad, although I didn't cry. Here are the lyrics, with the satanic words removed.

Shadow the hedgehog Almost Dead

No more BLEEP :No more graves
Are you friend or fiend?
No more life
No more death
Somewhere in between...

No more BLEEP
No more graves
Are you friend or fiend?
No more life
No more death
Somewhere in between...

Well, we're almost dead
Almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Almost dead
Almost dead
Almost dead to the world

BLEEP can't save us
BLEEP is a joke
No place left to go
What you see
You cannot believe
But when we rise, you'll know...

Well, we're almost dead
Almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Almost dead
Almost dead
Almost dead to the world [x3]
Well, we're almost dead.

There are a couple Myazaki movies that are pretty sad. Most notably “The Wind Rises”, and “When Marnie Was There”.

Porter Robinson has some sadder songs on Worlds. Personally, I'd say Fellow Feeling sounds the saddest, although the meaning of the lyrics in Fresh Static Snow is really depressing.

Finding Dory is quite sad.

Finding Nemo is so old that I didn't even expect it to have a sequel.
