Flash Player Security Issue

Hey everyone,

A critical security issue in Adobe Flash Player was identified earlier this month. Because Scratch uses Flash, you need to update the Adobe Flash Player if you use any browser other than Chrome.

To update your version of Adobe Flash Player, go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html.

If you would like more information, here is Adobe’s announcement of the updated version of Adobe Flash Player they released to fix the issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb16-18.html.

If you need permission to download a program on your computer, please show this message to your parent, guardian, or teacher.

Thanks speak. I've been requesting we switch off of Flash in the forums; will you guys try to? And will you be announcing what that issue was? Is the issue critical enough to switch off of Flash? (First)

So, if we only use Google Chrome, we don't need to update? Cause that is the only browser I use/trust.

The next version is going to be written in HTML, so don't worry.

Never mind! It OK Because I use Windows 7, and Chrome 51.0.2704.103.
