I can download custom sounds from other projects, but they don't seem to work for my projects. Any help?

1. Right click on the sound file in the sound panel of the sprite in the project, save it to your hard drive
2. Click on the “sounds” tab of a sprite in a new project, choose the folder option, select the file on your hard drive
3. Wait for the “converting” pop up to finish
4. Sound file should appear in sounds panel

you can click the see inside button of the project you want to get the music from, and then click the sounds button. then you can find the sound you want, and right click it. Now you have to save the sound as. so you can choose a location in your files,and then save.

Now all you have to do is go to your project and upload that sound!

To upload the sound, you again see inside your project, go to sounds, and then click the button that shows an arrow pointing upwards out of a file. (it is the button to upload the sound). Find the location where you saved the song, and click open!

I know it seems like a lot of steps, but eventually you will get the hang of it

By hard drive, he just means your computer. Follow digthebone's instructions though.

You need to learn how to save and retrieve files on your computer before you can attempt downloading and uploading.
You should know what a folder is, for example.
