When the games come out, do not put any story spoilers in this forum.

Some new stuff has been revealed for the game:
The region is called Alola. It is based off of Hawaii. I am guessing you will need lots of surf and maybe dive and waterfall to get through the game. The three starters are Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. Rowlet is a grass-flying Pokémon, Litten is fire, and Popplio is water. The legendaries are Solgaleo and Lunala. Solgaleo is psychic-steel, While Lunala is psychic-ghost. Three new moves have been revealed. Their names are leafage, sunsteel strike, and moongiest beam. All that is known about these moves is that they all deal damage. Two new abilities have also been revealed, their names are full metal body, and phantom shield. Full metal body stops its stats from being lowered, and shadow shield makes damage-dealing moves do less when at max HP.

More has been revealed about sunsteel strike and moongeist beam. The damage ignores the target's ability.

I need Rowlet or Litten.

A new steel-fairy mythical, Magearna will be feachered in the games. A pokedex form Rotom will also be introduced.

Character customization will return from Pokemon X and Y.

There will be 2 new forms of Zygarde, a 10% forme, and a complete forme. There will also be Zygarde cells and Zygarde cores, witch make up a Zygarde. There will be four natural islands, and one manmade island in Alola.

New move: core enforcer. It does damage.

You will be able to scan QR codes, and have Pokemon register as seen in the Pokedex.

New ability: soul heart. It is unknown what it does.

Soul hearts effect is revealed. Every time a Pokemon faints, the Pokemon with soul heart's special attack increases.

New battle style: Battle Royal. It is a four-player free for all. It is revealed Leafage effects only one Pokemon.

New Pokemon: Yangoos, Grubbin, Iwanko, Nekkoara, and Pikipek. Yangoos and Nekkoara are normal types. Pikipek is a normal/flying type. Grubbin is a bug type. Iwanko is a rock type.

New abilities: sure sleeper, and stakeout. Stakeout lowers the base power of Pokemon that switched out in the middle of battle. Sure sleeper's effect is that the Pokemon can only have the status condition sleep.

New move: fleur cannon. It does damage, but lowers the user's special attack by two stages. It targets one opponent.

New forms of Solgaleo and Lunala. Solgaleo has the rising sun phase, and Lunala has the full moon phase. They are more powerful in these phases. My guess is that it will be similar to primal reversion.

Leafage is revealed to be a grass type move.
