Why does pacifist Sans fan-art have anything to do with genocide Sans fan-art?All artwork I've ever seen of Sans is just edgy sans with inspectorgaster blasters fightin the kiddo in the grandest hallwayAnd, I've seen plenty of pacifist Sans fan-arts. Exactly. It's the same thing every single time

It's really not.
Your main argument to justify your Sans hate could be applied to any other character.
like, it's perfectly okay to dislike some characters, i don't get this trend of hating on them just because they are too “overrated/mainstream”.

Sans is a good character, but the way the fandom depicts him is terrible. All of the artwork of him is either him bawling his eyes out over his dead brother's scarf, or him heroically fighting the evil Frisk in the judgement hall, all of which his eye is blue and on fire.
Canonically, Sans is just a lazy skeleton who only fights when he needs to, i.e. when the very existence of the universe is at stake. He doesn't care about the death of his brother because it'll just be reset. Sometimes I feel like all the Sans fan-artists has never played Undertale. There's so much more to Sans then people think, and that part is leagues better than the old “bad time” Sans.

I love how in the guidelines it says to respect opinions, but the moment I say I don't like an overrated character it's war.
