Scratch 2.0 and Picoboard
I have a picoboard and it doesn't work.
Shift-click “Edit” and click on “Show sensor board blocks”
I shift clicked edit and it didn't say anything. Is it something to do with chrome? Do I have to use firefox?

Scratch 2.0 and Picoboard
I am on a Mac in a school computer lab. I've installed both the plug in and the extension for the picoboard multiple times but cannot get it to work. I'm using Scratch online and Chrome. The picoboard light is red. I got the picoboard to work on my personal computer (a Mac) cannot remember the steps I took, only that it was really complicated to do. Any advice?

PicoBoard Summary (Online v416 as at 22 May 2014)
Hardware
PicoBoard must be the lowest Windows COM port number found on your computer, as Scratch searches from COM1 upwards for any COM port, and then uses that first port it finds. If Picoboard is the only COM port on your computer then that is obviously not a problem. However if you have another different COM port lower than the picoboard COM port Scratch can incorrectly use that and ‘green light’ that a pico is connected (when it isn't!).
I have a red sparkfun scratchboard with a FTDI chip that generates a virtual COM port. You can change this COM port number in Device Manager as follows:
Device Manager > Ports > USB Serial Port (the pico's port) > Right Click > Properties > Port Settings > Advanced > COM port number
Many thanks! Your COM port fix saved my bacon at a children's activity day today! M.
