Hello! I am very new at this and having a play around before making my CS50 project. I am trying to make a shooter game, but I cannot make the “laser” sprite shoot from the “shark” sprite… The laser keeps shooting from a different area of the stage.

I have been watching tutorials on youtube, but despite following the code used in a spaceship game the laser still won't shoot from the right place!

Help!!

Try this. Also, if you scripted your shot properly you need to make sure your laser beam is centered as best as possible that way it will go to the correct spot. If you drew your laser beam off center on the editor then it will certainly make your laser start from strange places

Did you center your shark and your lazer beams in the sprite tab?
