text based scratch

Maybe you could make scratch text based code a bit like https://tosh.tjvr.org/app/. Before you say Scratch was made for the younger audience I just want to point out that it could an option. So like when you slide a switch code becomes text based when you slide it again code turns block based! I hope you support the idea.

P.S. The reason why I don't just use tosh is because I have an apple computer and i have to buy tosh if i want to save the projects

No support.
1. Scratch was made for the younger audience.
2. Even if it was optional, it opens up tons of potential for this:

Since when was tosh paid? Only the app is paid. Just use it online.

I understand the simple concept of making Scratch a bit more text-based, but I like how Scratch already is. If people want to program using text, then they could go to Tosh, and if they want to program using blocks, they could stay/go here!

I'm pretty sure the online version of tosh is free.

If you have an apple product such as a mac you can access the chrome version but you can't save the work you made. For a mac you have to buy the app because the creator is a student who needs money

I literally ported a project made in tosh to Scratch. It was then shared. I then downloaded it.

What makes this so difficult?

You can save your work. Just click “save” in the bar at the top or press ⌘S. It should automatically save as (project name).sb2 in your downloads folder (or other default download location)

Interesting idea, I support because I want to move on to more advanced languages and I feel like this would be good practice.
