Johnny Cash's cover of “Hurt” always does it for me (I love the original, but Johnny's makes me cry). So does “I Remember You” by Skid Row. And anything at all by Sarah McLachlan. A couple of Radiohead songs as well.

Music has never really made me cry.

Eminem's older stuff, a couple songs in particular with shall renamed unnamed for obvious reasons, really strike hard. They're just hard to listen to; there is so much emotion packed in them.

“don't dream it's over” by crowded house always gets me. plus i kind of associate it with a certain time in my life.

I don't think it's possible to listen without crying. The positive emotions given off by it are indescribable

Angel in the Snow by Elliot Smith. Also Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd because my older friend from Southern USA had it played at his funeral, of course. Lots of things just because they're tied to memories, like what was playing on college radio when I drove by the ruins of where I grew up and all.

And True Trans Soul Rebel by Against Me!, for very personal but obvious reasons also.

I can't really be affected by songs (though the videos on Youtube can affect me profoundly) especially since I don't even listen to songs in my own language, but there are plenty of Vocaloid songs that are very sad. Can't think of any off the top of my head, though. Use the Evillious Chronicles songs.

“Love Theme” from MOTHER 3 absolutely tugs at my heartstrings.

The song from the first Pokemon movie (Pikachu's Goodbye). It's so sad! I cry every time I watch that movie. I also listened to the song the night one of my rats was sick and dying, and it always reminds me of her.
