A Small Edit To The Community Guidelines
No support. It already says “Scratch welcomes people of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities.” at the bottom of the page. As many others have said, this would be redundant.
That isn't 90% true. Saying they accept all types of backgrounds, religions/beliefs can still associate with things like neo-nazism which is basically a re-birth of the nazi party that started around the 50s in South America; yes it still exists. I could also be pro-terrorist which also is probably not acceptable. There is even Satanism a form of Christian belief.Honestly, I think you're going overboard here. I've never seen this problem before, and I don't think that it's gonna spontaneously start just because we change the CGs a little. Plus, I think you're misinterpreting the word “accept.” “Accept” means to be okay with a person using Scratch. According to Google, “accept” means “consent to receive (a thing offered).” “Accept” does not mean that Scratch is okay with your beliefs and is okay with you sharing them on the website. Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with letting a neo-nazi use Scratch, as long as they don't do anything bad or try to spread their beliefs.
Honestly they should specify and what they consider allowed as the Honesty guideline can also interfere with such.

i feel like that is just superfluous considering it says pretty much an equivalent right here.Really, I have seen a project that basicly said that a certain religion (Not naming it for offencive purposes) was dumb.
also no one comes to scratch with the intent of being disrespectful to others based on those traits and the few who do obviously aren't going to have a swayed opinion if the text is added in the CGs (probably they wouldn't have read them in the first place which is a different issue).
and the very very few people who actually would be affected by the CG would have already seen the text i highlighted making this suggestion useless for any party.
so no support unless you honestly think there is a massive storm of little kids who don't know that harassing users based on those traits (that were already laid out in other areas) is okay then you go right on ahead and have it added. but i guarantee you there is not.

Then report it.

I don't care what a person believes, as long as they don't try to force their beliefs down my throat or otherwise be bad based on their beliefs.

Also, no support as per ipushpeople. It's in big text at the bottom of the page, making it very clear.
Really, Mathly? This isn't going to happen becuase we made ONE small edit to the CGs. As far as I have seen, there have no terrorist/satanism groups from my two years of experience on Scratch. And if there is? Report it. It's that simple.

Semi-support. It's a good idea, but it has pretty much already been added.

I'm not going to be a big incompetent baby about it but; if you're not going to read my post what point in reading yours?
Yes I read it anyways… @DaSpudLord and @NanoRook.
I simply said was it allowed? No it isn't extreme either; I know people who believe in such and go about the site everyday. Anyways; I was only asking a question.

There is Satanism, yes, but it's the complete opposite of Christianity. Satanism… Christian…

I'm being dead serious; don't think what I'm stating is a joke.
Now I know that this has nothing to with the suggestion at hand, and I completely support this, but I figured I'd just clear that up. There's a whole list of types of Christianity - Catholic, Baptists, people who have no other branch (simply believing in God), Methodist/Wesleyan, and so many more - but not Satanism. You've never seen any cartoon with the little red devil on one shoulder and a good angel with a halo on the other bickering over a decision?
Anyways, figured I'd point that they're two polar opposites. No further explanation required.

I just want to say - Amazing job of avoiding going into “which religion is better” and stuff like that. That isn't 90% true. Somewhat agree, maybe add something to not bring up religious matters? Why do people need to know other people's religion on scratch anyways? Also, no support as per ipushpeople. so in other words, someone made a project that goes against the cg's and your answer is to beef up the cg's so they won't do it anymore?i feel like that is just superfluous considering it says pretty much an equivalent right here.Really, I have seen a project that basicly said that a certain religion (Not naming it for offencive purposes) was dumb.

i agree with what you want to do (make scratch more friendly), but that is not a solution.
