Also, I have a feeling that the possible ability of lime bloods are able to calm down other trolls (because Karkat is a mutant blood who actually calmed down Gamzee like the calming agent, Sopor Slime) could be the reason why they lime-bloods were culled. (it/they weakened the highbloods like gamzee by calming them down)
