Stop asking for credit when people remix your projects
A phone's purpose wasn't meant to be for surfing the web. Yet now we have phones that do exactly that. Your point? Is that scratch's purpose? To teach people how to credit? But why can't Scratch teach it too? If you learn something in more than one place, it reinforces it and makes it more likely to remain engraved in your head. Nice job at ignoring my post.
It's NOT scratch's job to teach people to give credit. That's all of the schools jobs.
I don't think so.

They are following a Creative Commons license. Which REQUIRES you to give credit. So technically, Scratch is teaching people to give credit. It doesn't have to be someone's job to do something, yet they can do it anyway. Cavemen back in prehistoric times didn't have to tell others if someone died in the hunting party, yet they did anyways.

How? Please explain the difference in the context of this argument. But surfing on a phone is a completely different topicA phone's purpose wasn't meant to be for surfing the web. They are following a person on twitter, who has a drivers license. Which REQUIRES you to give credit cards. So technically, Scratch is teaching people to give credit cards. It doesn't have to be someone's job to do something, yet they can do it anyway. You know, I was never aware of the fact that they had a “Creative commons” license, or that they require it on the guidelines.

Thanks. That was actually a pretty funny edit.
Anyways: You're completely missing the point. This is a legal license they have to follow. Not kindergarten. If they don't follow the law, Scratch Team could get the website shut down.

Kid, I don't know why you're trying to ignore my posts saying “I don't want to argue” because 1. It's 6 AM where I am, and I'm pretty tired. 2. This fight is, once again, P O I N T L E S S

Then stop following it then
and don't make hostile posts maybe
you're still avoiding the argument either way. And go to bed if you're tired. It's that simple.

Guys, please calm down.
Sorry, but I won't support. The original project is only to help with the credits, but it is more like a “dependent credits”, where it simply only links the original project. The user actually has to give official credit, or else the original project link is really just not explanatory. Also, many sprites and other scripts also are borrowed from other projects. You have to give credit if you used any borrowed scripts or sprites, etc.
Also, it clearly states in the community guidelines- https://scratch.mit.edu/community_guidelines/

Share. You are free to remix projects, ideas, images, or anything else you find on Scratch – and anyone can use anything that you share. Be sure to give credit when you remix.

We didn't ignore your post, its a rule in scratch There's clearly an “original project” button shown in the corner of a remix, stop asking for credit if you already HAVE CREDIT!

Even though we have an automatic attribution system with remixes, It's considered gracious to manually acknowledge the help you got from the original creator. Regardless of the nature of their project, if you remixed it, clearly their project was worth using! Consider giving credit a way of thanking them for their original work, from which you benefited.
