Scratch 3.0
Speaking of Blockly, I also hope they don't remove capabilities from Blockly so we can “hack” in some stuff not supported by default, such as custom reporters…Most likely, they will.

Scratch 3.0
Why hasn't this been announced on the Scratch site though?Probably because it's not really done yet. I think it was probably only announced on other social media because Google wanted to present it at I/O Youth.

Ugh. It can cope with the sprinkles, but the spaghetti stress test makes my browser freeze…

@Jonathan50 How'd you get that working?https://github.com/LLK/scratch-blocks/wiki
Clone the repo, then download the Google Closure Library into a folder named “closure-library” in the directory above scratch-blocks, then open the files in tests/ with your browser…

This is coolSame, it feels a bit too thick…
I think the color scheme is fine, but I agree that the padding is too much.

Maybe they can add an option to decrease the padding so we don't have to scroll so much through our (typically) massive scripts?This is coolSame, it feels a bit too thick…

Gulp, Blob8108 might need to rewrite Scratchblocks.Since Blockly is just HTML/CSS, it would not be difficult to extract the rendering system into a standalone scratchblocks renderer.Also, the plugin may struggle to accommodate both Scratch and Snap!.

Gulp, Blob8108 might need to rewrite Scratchblocks.should be pretty easy, considering Scratch3 and the newest version of Scratchblocks are rendered with SVG.
Also, it looks like the horizontal editor is limited to 6 broadcasts: blue, green, coral, orange, magenta, and purple. It's a good system but not compatible with the vertical editor
edit: looks like my bad d-key is showing

My weird project:
The colours of the events and control blocks have been swapped around…?

Here's something fun to do: click the “Sprinkles!” button 3 times, then right click on the scripts area and select “Delete 300 Blocks”

I love that you can export projects from the horizontal one and import them into the vertical one and vice versa
