EDIT: Looking back, the breaking of the sticky by everybody else caused me to copy the others and just write unconstructive posts. Anyway, here is my adding to my earlier post:
Of course, we should make sure that the length of the text isn't too long – especially in translated versions of the Scratch Website. Would it get cut off?

I agree with the logic given in the OP, which is strange because usually I don't trust people who talk about “this is what a first-time user would do”

No Support. No one will really care if a new scratcher's project is unfinished. And besides, I don't think it's likely your scenario would ever happen, so this would pretty much be an unnecessary tweak.
