Custom Mario Party Minigames?
If you had to make up some Mario Party minigame ideas, what would they be?
Maybe your ideas could help people to make something on Scratch!
Here are some of my ideas:
4-player minigame: Keyboarders Ahoy
25 letters show up on a screen. However, one letter is missing. If a player guesses correctly which letter is missing, (there are 26 letters in an alphabet - all of the letters in the alphabet except one is shown on the screen) they get one point. The first player to get 3 points wins!
2-vs.-2 minigame: Can you Dig it
Each team has a player with a metal detector, and a player with a shovel. The player with the metal detector walks around until that player's metal detector beeps. and the player with the shovel must get to the area to dig a coin out. The players with the most coins win.
1-vs.-3 minigame: Road Blocks
The solo player tries to drop brick blocks on the track while riding a truck, and the team of three must do their best to avoid them. The team of three will win if they manage to dodge all the brick blocks the solo player dropped on the track within the time limit. If the trio will get eliminated, then the solo player will win.

My minigame is a 4 player minigame named Rythmic Rallies.
In this game, a short 30 second song will play, and some balls will fly out. Hit the balls to the music and earn points. The most points from a player wins. Simple, yet fun.

1 vs 3 minigame = Switch to Ditch
Rules: Three players must pick a block to stand on in a factory (there are nine blocks). The single player has 9 switches which, if jumped on one, it can make one of the nine blocks disappear, causing a player on the team of three standing on it to fall to their doom. There are 5 rounds. If at least one player survives the 5/3 rounds the whole team wins. However, there are wires shown at the start of the minigame that disappear shortly afterwards, giving the single player a slight advantage. A switch has a wire connected to it that is also connected to a block, showing which switches make what blocks disappear.
That's all for now. Boy, I wish there would be a Mario Party which allowed players to make their own mini games, then publish them around the world.

4-Player minigame: Mario In A Minecart
Rules: Every player try to get the most gems. Players need to avoid Thwomps in the mine, because if one of them hits a player, the player drop half of his gems (and lose their turn). The next player will try to get the dropped gems (only if they want a bonus). If a player manages to avoid 10 thwomps, he wins a gem. The player with the most gems win.
Controls: To start moving, press A. To stop moving, press B.
2vs2 minigame: Left, right and Lakitu!???
Rules: Every team races to the finish. The players need to press buttons or move their Wiimote to move the magic carpet they are on. If a player gets a wrong button, or moves their Wiimote wrong, Lakitu comes and scary the both players so they will not move for 3 seconds. First team that passes the finish line wins.
Controls: Move your wiimote or press buttons depending on how they are displayed on the screen.
1vs3 minigame: Color Switch
Rules: 3 players try to avoid falling in the ocean while the other player switch beetwen red and blue bridges. If any of the 3 players reach the
finish line, they win. If all players falled the solo player win. The solo player can't switch bridges while players are on it.
Controls: Team players move with arrow keys, while the solo player press A to switch to blue and B to red.
Duel minigame: King Bob-omb's shuffled factory
Rules: Each player chooses a door beetwen two or three. One leads to the correct room, but the others lead to a Dead-End room. The first
player what guessed 10 doors win.
Controls: Choose a door by pressing A,B or 1.
DK minigame: Banana-land!
Rules: Each player press A when they think a banana is under them.
Controls: Press A when you think a banana is under you.
Bowser Minigame: Volcano escape!
Rules: Players try to escape a volcano by jumping on platforms. Press the correct buttons and evade without falling in the lava to win!
Controls: Press A,B,1 or 2 to summon a platform.
And that are all my ideas.

Name: Ghost Hunting
Free for All
Players are in a haunted mansion. Boos, Eeries and Peepas are constantly moving around. Occasionally, lightning will flash, and the ghosts will be briefly visible. If you see a ghost, you must run to it, point your flashlight at it and press 2 to turn the flashlight on. Be careful, because your flashlight has a battery power of 10 by default. Everytime you press 2, the battery power decreases by one. Each Boo you find is worth one point. Each Peepa is worth two points. Eeries are worth three. The game lasts until everyone is out of battery power, or the 30 seconds is up. The player with the most points wins.

4-player minigame: Stewpendous
This minigame is set in the Luncheon Kingdom from Odyssey. Each player has their own cooking pot at each corner of the screen, into which they must throw in ingredients that match the ingredient list shown on a large signpost in the background. A Volbonan stands in front of the signpost, who jumps every couple of seconds, making the desired ingredients rain from the sky.
The catch with this minigame is that it doesn't tell you what ingredients you already have thrown in, forcing you to pay attention. Players can also punch each other during the game to cause distraction. The player who followed the recipe most accurately wins the minigame.

Birdo Bonanza
A boss minigame like in the ones from Mario Party 10 featuring Birdo (wow surprising). She (OR IS IT A HE LIKE IN SMB2?!) shoots eggs from her/his mouth and you throw them back at her/him. Basically, it's a 3D version of every fight with Birdo from SMB2. (S)he will also sometimes shoot fire, which will hurt you if you try to jump on it. If you get hit twice or go too far riding on a egg, you're out. The last man standing or the person who got the most points at the end of the one-minute fight wins. It shows a clip of the winner throwing the last egg and claiming the orb. It fades out just as they enter the Hawkdoor.
The game is controlled through the stick for moving, the bottom button (either B, Y, or D-Left) for jumping, and the rightmost button (either Y, X, or D-Up) for throwing.

All of these are great ideas! If you're lucky, some of these might get added to Super Mario Party. I might as well think of some design for Sound Stage. My best idea so far is one where you're a DJ scratching a disc. (That's it.)

Wow, I just realised how Super Mario Party's Metal Detectors has a 2-vs.-2 minigame: Can you Dig itvery similar concept
Each team has a player with a metal detector, and a player with a shovel. The player with the metal detector walks around until that player's metal detector beeps. and the player with the shovel must get to the area to dig a coin out. The players with the most coins win.

Boss Minigame: Get Crafty with Goomboss
It is really a 2v2 minigame. So basically, you have to pick a jump or a hammer in 5 seconds, then you have to use it on Goomboss with the correct action command. Your partner then attacks. Team 2 then has their turns. And yes, this is based off Paper Mario. What, you got a problem with Paper Mario references in a Mario Party game?
