Chat rooms being allowed .... and cloud lists and letters and symbols and spaces being supported by both.
I think that chat rooms should be allowed to be made.
Whats the harm from them?
There are already scripts thought of to ban rude or inapropriate words from chatrooms.
Also if cloud lists were made it would make alot of cloud projects easier.
And if cloud lists and variables could support letters numbers and symbols and maybe links it would make several projects possible.
Chatrooms are also a good chance to make more friends.
Once chatrooms cloudlists cloud data supporting numbers are allowed and exist people could make more than chatrooms.
Do you support Chatrooms or cloudlists, or cloud data supporting numbers and symbols and spaces?

As quoted by jvvg:
So no support. Allowing “free” chatrooms (i.e. where users can type in whatever they want) - for now, they are not allowed because of the potential for bullying, and there is no good way to moderate them. If you want to make a chat program, you may make a “safe” chat, where users can only select from a few messages.

Even though people couldn't curse, they could still bully.
For example: (this is just an example don't report this)

Also, I think cloud lists are currently being worked on.
Even though people couldn't curse, they could still bully.
For example: (this is just an example don't report this)
Person1: Hello! And you really couldn't stop it, even if you banned words like “hate.”
Person2: Shut up.
Person1: That isn't nice.
Person2: I hate you.
Person1: I'm going to report you!
(Person2 leaves, and there is very little proof he ever bullied on the chat room, because it is soon flooded with more messages)
Because:
Person2: I really don't like you. Then you would have to ban “don't”, but what if someone wanted to say “I don't like pancakes.”?
Also, I think cloud lists are currently being worked on.

Talk about accepting things- you'll just have to accept the Scratch Teams statement banning them. Honestly, I can't see a good way to have them wthout an army of paid moderators, which Scratch cannot and will not have.
And yes, they are working on strings. Hopefully they'll get those out soon.

Do you have friends in Scratch? If you do, what if all of them leaves, and it's not your fault? Many adults believed Scratch as a safe site for kids, and a free chatroom might make these adults don't trust Scratch anymore and disallowed their children to Scratch more. Rude comments and posts are mean enought, but real-time chatrooms are awful. And many bullied Scratchers might quit and Scratch will become unfriendly, the hired Moderators will be busy from reports and decide to find other good jobs, programmers would be working hard on finding a good solution and… WHY DONT THEY HAVE CHAT ROOMS WHO CARES ABOUT IT ACCEPT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
…the only good solution is…
…no free chatrooms…

Yes, I think that people may want chatrooms, but for the safety we may never get chatrooms.

You could ban ‘don’t like you'. Anyway, I want them.
