However, this means that Gaster was a dog, since Toby is a dog. But, Inspector Gadget is actually Gaster's cousin, too. So could this mean that Toby is inspector Gaster and we never knew?

nah it's cool, i thought it was a 10/10 comeback. i also don't really see too many problems with genderbending, while you can make it offensive, it appears that there's nothing offensive about it in of itself. i haven't seen many good arguments about it though, so if someone thinks they can give good reasons as to why they think it's problematic without being rude, i'll accept that.

please don't start drama over this, kiddos.

Thank you for understanding. I came to this topic because I wanted to discuss a game I love with others fans, but people these days always get so political about everything. Can we all just agree to disagree and be at peace?
