ok, its not about reshape, but i must point out that the costume editor really isnt working anymore. it tries to remember what you have selected and then allows you to drag it, but this means you cant select stuff inside that area without dragging stuff away. the undo button is also having problems and not undoing all the rubbish that happens when you try to move stuff. basically its got worse since a few months ago. also there are weird glitches where if you move or risize something, it moves somewhere random and bits of it slightly displaced.

Does the reshape tool allow you to move multiple points at a time?

How the Reshape Tool works (including advanced features)
Hello!Well, I was wondering why there was no eraser tool…Couldn't you guys add it back for people who don't like the reshaping tool or still don't understand how to use it? (Not saying I'm one of them *looks both ways*
Recently, there's been some talk in the “Rethinking the Scratch 2.0 Paint Editor” discussion about the Eraser Tool being removed from the vector editor. Instead of posting there I'm creating a new discussion because I'd also like to explain all of the features of the Reshape Tool.
The Eraser Tool was able to erase parts of shapes and lines, but you haven't lost that ability. When you use the Reshape Tool you can cut open a shape or remove a section of a line.
This is how the Reshape Tool works:
* Click on a line or border of a shape where there is no point to add a point.
- Holding down shift will add a line segment that is curved on a straight segment or one that is straight on a curved segment
* Drag a point to move it and the line that passes through it
- Moving an endpoint to the other end of the same unclosed shape will close the shape (now you can color the inside!)
- Moving an endpoint to an endpoint of another unclosed shape will connect them (the new merged shape will have the same color and thickness of the shape you were editing)
* Clicking on an point, without moving it, will remove it.
- If you have the shift key down while doing this the shape will be cut (disconnected) where the point had been.
- Cutting open a closed shape will remove the fill color if it was filled.
* Press the delete key to remove the shape
* Pressing the zoom in button will zoom in on the shape you are editing. This can be good for making precise changes.
I'd be happy to answer any Reshape Tool (or general paint editor) questions, just reply! The ability to cut shapes was just added in the version we deployed today (version 248).
Thanks,
Shane

How the Reshape Tool works (including advanced features)
Yet another feature, in addition to making two objects a group, would be to make to objects become just one. That would really improve the editor, because you would not have to shape the object as a whole, but you could divide it into basic shapes, which can easily be made. Later, by selecting two (or even more object), they could be fused!!
I don't know how to describe this last idea, but I will try^^ Imagine, you had a circle and a rectangle. Now you drag the rectangle, so that a part of the circle is hidden and a semicircle remains. Now you select the rectangle and use the cutting tool. When you click the circle, it will become a true semicircle, the rectangle will vanish.
Will some of these things be done, too?
SVG (vector) editors can contain a <clippath> element so if you had a group with a clippath on it you would only see the part of the group that is also coverd by the clippath.
In the case with the circle and rectangle only the intersection of the circle and the rectangle would be visible.
Until the scratch paint editor has a clippath tool, use another SVG editor, such as inkscape.

Wait… why are there posts that have nothing to do with what this topic was meant to be about? I reported the topic to be closed.
