How to upload zip file

Question- how do I upload a (previously downloaded and modified) zip file to the scratch? I have downloaded the project as a zip, and have been able to view the individual components. However, when I rezip the folder, I can't re-upload it to Scratch, as it will only accept sb2 files. (Changing the file ending to .sb2 does not do anything; it still behaves like a zip.) How do I accomplish this?

I don't think you need to upload anything but the .sb2, do you? What are the other files?

Sorry, I don't think it's possible - like you said, Scratch can only read .sb2 files.

There's probably a way to convert your zip file to an .sb2 file, but I'm afraid you'll have to consult someone else on that. Downloading files, uploading them, converting them, etc. is sadly not my strong point with computers…

I think the OP is simply referring to other file types - for example, image files, like .png or .gif. You may have misunderstood; they're wondering if it's possible to upload a zip file to Scratch - i.e. by converting it to a .sb2 file.

Actually .sb2 files are simply .zip files, so renaming should work. At least renaming worked for me: I downloaded a project (.sb2 or .zip does not matter), unzipped it, modified the project.json, zipped it (without the folder prefix), renamed it to *.sb2, uploaded it and I saw my changes.

Change the name, that's the default name which for some reason doesn't work. Change it to something like hacks.sb2 or hax.sb2

File > Upload from computer accepts zip files

SB2 files are in fact zip files with a different file extension. Just make sure your zip has no folders in it, because Scratch doesn't like that, and it should work.
That means, instead of zipping your folder, go inside the folder, select everything, and then zip the files.

How do you even upload .wav files? I just tried renaming it from .zip to .wav but it didn't work.
