Hey there, if you are Scratch staff please read the following and consider adding a download to an offline editor.
I don't know if there is one already and I just can't find it, or if there is no available download.
My name is dino6 and I have been on Scratch for a long time. I haven't been on Scratch in a while, but when I came back I saw a whole load of changes. I'm using a new computer, so I don't have the editor downloaded onto it. I realize there is an online editor, but I find it annoying because you cannot edit projects offline, and because I personally do not like the layout. The layout I don't mind so much but still.
I have been searching on the website for a download for a couple of weeks now, and have resorted to the forums. I simply could not find one. At first I had given up, but then I saw on one of my school computers that Scratch had been downloaded, and it wasn't there last time I looked to I went back to my search. Coming back unsuccessful, I set about writing this forum post.
Maybe there is no download available anymore because it crashed some computers, or maybe it was thought it would increase the amount of users. Whatever the reason, please tell me below and surely I will understand. In the meantime, however, I rarely use Scratch anymore because of this.
I hope you have thought about what I have said, and I hope to hear back from you.
Thank you for reading this.
