Undo/Redo for Scripts
Isn't it annoying when you accidentally delete a HUGE script, and for me my natural response is Control + Z, oh wait it doesn't work with scripts, but with art it does, I think it would be nice to have this! I lost a lot of time having to redo scripts, anyways please say what you think!
*NOTE Yes I know about the undelete button, but it only works ONCE, and plus a keyboard shortcut would be AWESOME!!

You can undelete from the edit menu, but support for a keyboard shortcut.

Yes I agree with a keyboard shortcut, but there is one in the edit menu named Undelete

Support: Yes, i would agree for a shortcut, AND a button. I mean there is “undelete” but i would like a redo/undo WITHOUT pressing the menu.
No support: Control+Z isn't the best idea. That's overused. I would take some other shortcut. Not control+R because on Mac it uses COMMAND, And on Safari and Firefox (both meant for mac), Command+R reloads the page.

Control+Z isn't the best idea. That's overused. How? Just because it's used enough doesn't mean it's “overused.” It's used so much because it's basically the universal “undo” shortcut. All apps use that same shortcut to make it easier for users to remember the command. If Scratch were to deviate from this, people would probably be upset.

And when it comes to displaying CTRL vs CMMD, Windows has higher priority. And usually the shortcut for “redo” is CTRL+Y or CTRL+SHFT+Z (though on macs, CMMD+Y on Chrome displays history because Macs hog pretty much all the useful keyboard shortcuts)

Even if something is overused, it doesn't mean we should stop using it. Apple made that mistake by changing its CTRL into CMMD, enter into return, backspace into delete, etc.

Dude, what if they ONLY make it control-z? what if they don't add storage-z and/or command-z? besides, could they just make a button?Control+Z isn't the best idea. That's overused. How? By the way, your signature says that you can't do that, but i can. #Rekt?

You are impersonating apple and macs. Changing these keys was INTENDED, so was for Linux. The backspace change is for multi-use, so if you are in an area where you can't delete anything, you can just press “delete” or do command-delete. They didn't change enter, its now enter-return. Please don't be mean to apple. By overused, i mean that no one has come up with original ideas (besides apple). Also macs don't HOG the useful shortcuts.

I'm sure that if ctrl-z is added, then the ST will also add command-z to the Mac version. You assume that they will only add the keyboard shortcut to windows computers, which I highly doubt. After all, why would they add one but not the other? And there probably will be a button, but a keyboard shortcut would be faster- especially one that is familiar to most users.Dude, what if they ONLY make it control-z? what if they don't add storage-z and/or command-z? besides, could they just make a button?Control+Z isn't the best idea. I fail to see how using an existing standardized universal cross-platform keyboard shortcut is “unoriginal”, or frankly how originality factors into using an existing standardized universal cross-platform keyboard shortcut in the first place.
