How to use Paint Bucket to fill a unclosed region?

In vector mode, Paint Bucket just can fill a closed region.
But i find a strange thing.

Welcome, binbin309 to Scratch.

The paint bucket tool works on both the vector and bitmap editors. They only replace on color with another and only until they are enclosed by another color.

I the vector editor, the shape being filled in must be a polygon, with the splines connecting back to the start.
