Suggestion: Create clone and wait

Too situational, and there's an easy way to handle it. It's not worth it.

if you want to create one single clone and then wait for it to go away, you can achieve the exact same thing with a broadcast.

Using Firefox 46.0.1, Flash plugin version 21.0.0.242, and Windows 7 Professional.

Why would you want to use a single clone to do stuff while the original sprite waits? It would be the same as just doing it with the original one.

) what if you have three scripts with it that needs cloning? so like you need to have 3 at about the same time, but don't want another to come until it dies.

Try this script:

Clone startup
Set [Clone] to (1)
*Script
Set [Clone] to (0)
Delete this clone
