Coding a Sans Battle?

I'm creating a Sans Fight (Sans is a character from Undertale) and I need help with multiple things:

The heart keeps getting stuck on the white border.
I need help making it jump and get pulled back down, depending on how long the player holds the UP arrow.
I need help making the attacks go through the screen.

Please respond with solutions!

Try making a separate sprite for the Player and the Heart so the heart vanity sprite will teleport to the player sprite there for the player is the controller but doesn't get stuck.

I was making the same thing, except I'm the boss…and once I'm finished I can let you use the border programming and the gravitational heart (the blue heart)…

You can use JamesOuO's Spooky scary skellingtons player engine for the blue heart. Watch the costume engine tutorial of his to fully understand how it works.
