How come you guys finishing projects quickly doesn't cause the quality to go down?

We finish projects quickly not by doing a bad job and finishing it faster, but by making your work our top priority.

Why do you have a “Payment” post? Scratch isn't supposed to have currency!

The “Payment” post is merely to support the staff members, and help promote projects that have requested advertising. And plus, it doesn't even take that long– Just a couple clicks and five minutes of your time

What is a “Review?”

A “Review” is when another user looks at your project and rates it on several different topics.

How come there is no “Music” or “Special effects” categories?! I came because I thought you had everything!

Fear not! The music category will be added soon. However, currently we do not have any musicians, so this category is empty. Check back regularly!

What is the difference between “Coding” and “Bug Fixing?”

Good question. “Coding” is for when you need an entire script written. For example, if you need code to make a sprite jump when the spacebar is pressed. However, “Bug Fixing” is for when you need something fixed on a pre-written script. For example, if you already had a sprite that jumped when you hit the spacebar, but the sprite would jump to high, or not come back down.

Why does it say “Ideas” next to “Writing,” but there is no “Idea maker” job in the “Staff” section?

Personally, I categorize anyone who is good at coming up with ideas and writing them down as a writer. So we still have idea makers, they are just writers.

I've never seen “Advertising” in another shop before. How does this work?

Another good question! When you request to be advertised, our advertiser will spend one week advertising you project. This means one week of continuously bumping a thread about it on Show and Tell, one week of telling others about it, and maybe even one week with it in their signature. This also means the project will be added to List 2 (see Payment) forever, unless the list gets overcrowded.

So you can just animate projects? Great! I'll never do anything again!

First of all, I'm probably the worst animator this side of the equator. Just because I can do it, doesn't mean it'll be good. Second of all, we do not animate full projects. Instead, we would animate the part you are having trouble with (which you should specify in part of your form). For example, if you can't get the character to run properly.

If I work here, can I still buy stuff?

Of course you can! The only thing is that if you purchase advertisement, your project won't be added to List 2, since you can have a project on List 1. This rule still applies even if you have an “Apprentice” rank.

True. However, you adding your username makes it easier for us to keep up with your order, and log it better.
