On the wiki (specifically DACH-Scratch Wiki) we are interested in setting up wikis in other languages. If you are interested in helping with translations and setting up the wiki, please post below with what languages you speak and why you want to help. The DACH-Scratch Wiki Team will gladly help you get started on the right foot.

Requirements:
*Must speak English and at least one other language (language must be real)
*Must be able to translate well in their other language(s)
Preferred:
*Have some experience with Mediawiki and wikis (so you know how to edit, we can teach you if need be)
*Know lots about Scratch (so instead of plagiarism we have originality)

True, you do have a point. I think it'd be easier and faster for collaborators to go through the DACH team, and so I've changed the link. Thanks for the idea. :)

There's also a lot arranged for a Dutch Wiki yet, but that happens outside of this forum.

I'm not the person to ask if you want to help out; I don't know how to join the German Wiki. I'd recommend though that you go to MartinWollenweber's profile and ask him because he's a big German Wiki editor.

Hello, I am baptiste2b31 and I'd like to help the French wiki team.
simply because I'd like to help people discover Scratch. Translating the wiki will surely help them if they don't speak Englich.
Here is the French translation of the announcement:

Si vous êtes intéressez pour aider à le traduire, s'il vous plait, écrivez dans les commentaires, la langue que vous parlez courament, et expliquez pourquoi vous souhaitez participer. Les membres de la DACH-Scratch Wiki Team vous aiderons avec plaisir.
Sont necessaires :
*parler Anglais et au moins une autre langue (courament ou avec très peu d'érreurs)
*pouvoir traduire d'anglais en cette langue facilement.
Il est préférable de :
*avoir de l'experience avec “Mediawiki” et avec le fonctionnement d'un wiki en générale (pour que vous puissiez éditez, nous pouvons vous apprendre si nessécaire)
*de s'y connaître sur Scratch (comprendre la traduction (par exemple le tuto), ne pas juste la copier)

To make the wiki in the scratch.mit.edu domain, you'd need to contact the Scratch Team. I can't do that for you. I think you might want to find some wiki helpers as well. ;)
