Hi everyone! I am wondering how you change your username scratch. If you know the answer, please reply.

Nope, sorry, you can't change your username once your account has been made.

What you could do is make a new account and request that your old account be deleted through Contact Us.

Since you are new to scratch, you can delete your account easily through http://scratch.mit.edu/contact-us/.
Then you create a new one…

But I already have lots of projects saved!

I think that it would be better if you advertised your project by making a topic in the Show and Tell forum. Advertising projects on other people's topics is considered as spamming.

It's also considered okay to advertise your projects in your signature

You can remix them to your alternate accounts, and state in the notes that you used a alternate account and copied your projects over to that account. Then, you can delete your other account without losing your work.

Sorry, you can not change your username when your account has been made

Download all your projects, create new profile, upload saved projects, request old profile to be deleted

Yes, it is okay to advertise in your signature.

You have to move slots to keep progress, remix your projects.

I am now fanfan2987.

I'm fanfan2987 and I'm not using pingfan any more and my projects are saved.

So I guess that means I can't change my username…

To change the your scratcher name, um… Scratch not have something a setting to change it. But, contact Scratch and say to remove your account. To save your projects, must click “See inside” and then click to “File” and then click to “Download to your computer” button. Hope you enjoy .

And you must know to download Scratch Offline Editor to share it back online.

From the editor on this website, choose File - Upload from computer and then share from the project page.
