The autosave in conjunction with no real functional global undo feature is messing things up more than helping for me.

Also, the sprite image editor really needs an X/Y indicator like the one in the display window. In almost display window size images like images for scrolling backgrounds it's a * to find the center for the pivot point, especially since they can't be maxed out in size as they need to take into account that the edges needs a frame to hide them since they can't go all the way off screen.
