How to Make a Sprite Call You By Your Name?

How do you make it so that when the sprite asks you a question, they call them by the name you entered? I want to know how to do that.

Or in place of asking for and using name, you could use the USERNAME reporter under SENSING

Here's one way:

when green flag is clicked:
say (join) Hello, (Username)

I know it didn't have symbols but they don't work for me :\
