how do you make a screenshot on a chromebook?

Are you using windows? If so, then go to the start menu. Search up “cutting tool”. Go to the item where you want to screenshot. Then, click the cutting tool icon. Start at one corner of the section you want to go to, then right click. While holding, drag all the way until the area is covered. Edit, then save.

A Chromebook does not run Windows, it runs Chrome OS and is different. It is actually called Snipping Tool on Windows as well - please understand and read the question before you attempt to answer it.

The method to take screenshot have changed quite a bit in New Chromebook. For Full Screenshot you have to press Ctrl + Switch Windows key.

For partial screenshots you have to hold Ctrl + Shift key and press Switch Windows key.
