Could someone please tell me the jist of the show? i only read the #1 manga,and thats it,the only ppl i know so far are star platnium,dio brando,jotaro,and za warudo,please give me some more info,thanks.

Well, you really should watch the anime adaption for the first part. It's amazing. Anyways, I'm sure you've noticed that in the manga for the first part, everything is serious and dark, not much humorous moments. But after the first part, the series transitions into a more comedic series, following the generations of the Joestar family. The next main JoJos are: Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna, Jolyne Kujo, Johnny Joestar, and Josufemi Kujo. Johnny and Josefumi are from alternate realities by the way. Their last names are different because, well, different parents. In the first two parts, Jonathan and Joseph use Hamon, but after that, Jotaro Kujo and everyone else in Part 3 uses a “Stand”, which is basically the manifestations of one's fighting spirit. Usually the Stands are humanoid, but other stands can look like pretty much anything. I hope this helped you, and I think you'll really enjoy the series.

Just going to say that Josuke Higashikata 8 is the next main JoJo not Josefumi, but *MAJOR JOJOLION SPOILER* Josefumi Kujo is one half of Josuke 8, the other half being Yoshikage Kira.
