Not Featuring 3d projects.
So it says in the stickies that 3d scratch has been rejected because it is too hard for newer programmers. However, many people have tried to make 3d projects, and nearly all of them have been featured. It doesn't make sense that the ST would feature something that they rejected. I think it is unfair that the 3d projects get featured since there are only a handful of scratchers that can do it. My suggestion is that featuring 3d projects is not allowed. Please post your opinion.

Not Featuring 3d projects.
The fact that people can make pseudo-3D engines in a 2D programming environment is certainly something to be lauded. The Scratch Team is only rejecting the concept of adding 3D blocks and tools to their language, not the concept of 3D itself.
And newer programmers can do it if they work hard and learn! A short while ago, I had a go myself at making a rotating cube, and it turned out alright, despite the fact that I know nothing about 3D rendering. And for the record, I also started using Scratch knowing little to nothing about programming. The point is, if I can do something like that with relative ease, anyone can.

I think it's a script for creating a 3D thing.

3D projects show what is possible with Scratch, but their code is confusing to understand and so its remixes aren't very worthy of being so-called “good remixes.”

No support, three dimensional projects are possible to create (just read this Scratch Wiki article), it doesn't matter how complex the code is.

So it says in the stickies that 3d scratch has been rejected because it is too hard for newer programmers. It's the blocks that have been rejected, not the projects themselves.
However, many people have tried to make 3d projects, and nearly all of them have been featured.Only because there are less 3D projects on Scratch then there are 2D, so of course it will be faster for all the 3D ones to have at least one turn on there. Also, the Scratch Team judges projects by how good they look and there are more better designed and thought-out 3D ones there there are better designed and thought-out 2D ones. This is because most of the 2D ones are now being done by noobs.
It doesn't make sense that the ST would feature something that they rejected.Same as my first point - It's the blocks that have been rejected, not the projects themselves.
I think it is unfair that the 3d projects get featured since there are only a handful of scratchers that can do it.It would also be unfair if it would only be 2D projects. Think from the 3D Scratcher's point of view as well as your own. Also, if you look at the Featured Projects, it's a mixture of projects. They're not all 3D and they're not all 2D. Also, more Scratchers are slowly learning how to do 3D projects.
So really, I don't agree with your idea. 3D projects should be able to be featured because the people who make them most likely took ages to do the project. It takes a lot of time and skill and the Scratch Team like it when people put effort into their projects. To be honest, I do too. How would you feel if somebody would suggest that 2D projects shouldn't be featured because the Scratchers who do them are too lazy to learn how to do 3D projects and they're too lazy to do 3D projects? You would feel pretty much like ‘* is wrong with people?’ would you?
So all projects should be treated fairly.

wait a darn second here, “not all scratchers can do it” WHY DO YOU THINK NOT ALL SCRATCHERS CAN DO IT? i'll tell you why, because IT'S HARD AND IT TAKES A LOT OF PATIANCE AND PERSERVERENCE TO LEARN from experience I know this, you are not born knowing how to program in 3d, it takes a long time to learn, and a lot of hard work, and you must look at the mistakes made by those before you, it's more simple than it seems, and there are many 3d projects out there that you can learn from and learn how to do this skill

DEFINITELY NO SUPPORT!!!! The stickies say no suggesting a 3D version of scratch, and the ST is looking for complex projects, like 3D stuff.

and the ST is looking for complex projects, like 3D stuff.
So does that mean someone like me that doesn't make complex projects will never be featured?
Anyway, they were rejecting to make a 3D version of Scratch, not rejecting 3D altogether.

Just because someone is new doesn't mean thier projects aren't very advanced. Many 3D projects are
Many 3D projects are
…so yes, they definitely fit in with what the ST is looking to feature.
2. complex projects
3. projects that show an innovative use of Scratch
…
6. project that different kinds of people would find enjoyable
7. projects that inspire

No support. The featured projects section needs more advanced projects that showcase Scratch's “high ceiling” philosophy, not less.

Support. I have tried making several 3d projects, and in the end they are nothing more than a moving line that does nothing. The scripts for 3d projects are ridiculously complex, and if a project is featured it should be easy for most average scratchers to understand.

So you're saying that just because something is hard to make, others should not know about it because they might feel bad when they can't do it. Like someone else said, “I wasn't born knowing how to make a 3D project.” Support. I have tried making several 3d projects, and in the end they are nothing more than a moving line that does nothing. In that case, let's ban people from making complex programs in Java because I don't know how to program in Java and it confuses me. Support.
