[CLOSED] Report Lost/Broken Projects Here
im so sorry that happened to you I don't even know what just happened, but I think it counts as a “broken” project now.
Every so often, and it is getting more and more frequent on the platform game that I am in the process of making here. Usually, this isn't that bad, as autosave constantly saves my project, and so I can use my project from the most recent save. Because I already know exactly what I've done in the past five minutes, fixing the project only takes about one minute.
This time, I think one of my sprites was corrupted or something.
I don't think that there were any specific triggers for this. I was just editing scripts and testing the game (from the editing screen). Sometimes, I did deactivate and reactivate some scripts, but nothing that I haven't done before without triggering this glitch.
Now, it says that the last time I modified the project was 17 hours ago. Every single change made more recently than 17 hours ago was deleted.
But, my confusion is that, the glitch occurred twice today before this. After that, I had to start from the most recent autosave, and recover everything. Of course, after this, I pressed the save button, because I didn't want to lose it again. And, besides, after the second time it occurred, upon refreshing the page to go back onto the project, I had more sprites than I seem to now.
Could this have been because of a corrupted asset? Or was it just simply the same glitch, but more severe? I honestly have no idea how a glitch could occur twice and delete everything that is unsaved, but it could occur a third time and delete 17 hours of work, but not the whole project.
Anyway, because this is 17 hours of work, I would really appreciate any attempts to recover it. Again, the project is here.
Thank you!

My project will not save. It is related to the data list with several thousand items (when I clear the list, it saves).
However, it's not a network timeout issue, it “gives up” in just a few seconds with a 500 Internal Server Error.
So now I saved it without the data, and can't import the data because it won't save.
With 2908 items, it saves. With 2909 items, it fails to save. It used to have 60 times that much data.
sounds like the new backend decided to store data lists in a 16384 byte text field or something.

I think my project may have saved before it crashed at could be recovered at the point I would hope but am not sure.
Can you please help me, it would mean the world to me.
And, If my work really didn't recover successfully, just to clarify, there absolutely is NO way to get back a project that you didb't press save or it didn't automatically save? Like, is it possible there could be an option on Scratch where you can press “Recover Unsaved Project” and even if it was not saved, you could still get it back? Thanks a lot.

Or maybe it could work from this file:
file

Can you please help me, it would mean the world to me.

Project works perfectly fine without issue on my computer, completely broken when played on any other computer (freezes when you try to start it, text doesn't appear, game freezes partway in, etc).
Is this a known issue?

I've been also noticing issues with the json api (My connection just stalls until my router terminates it)

AwokeKnowing, can you compile the list into a var and extract when you run it?
Very nice 3D engine you have there by the way.

[CLOSED] Report Lost/Broken Projects Here
While working on my project, it suddenly deleted a lot of sprites. I closed the window, but now everything is gone. The only thing I've got left is a version of the project from days ago (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/96354359/#editor). Is there any chance I can get back the real almost-done version of my project?

After RjLance left, nobody on the ST helps in this topic anymore.
I am very sorry everybody, I am not a scratch team member, and I can't help here, since RjLance left.
I am closing this topic
