Will there be a .sb2 to .exe converter?

There were numerous sb to exe converters for Scratch 1.4 and prior, but will there be one for Scratch 2.0? If so, who's developing it and how long will it take?

It might be easier once the offline version is released later this summer, but I'm pretty sure it's either impossible or very difficult to do as things are right now.

Yeah, an sb2 to exe converter would be really helpful. You could make a really good game, release it on the internets as an exe, and nobody would suspect a thing.

I suppose if I implemented all the Scratch 2.0 blocks in SKIP, you could use Py2EXE to make a standalone Scratch project…

I want a converter to convert .sb2 to .exe
I have a converter that only works with .sb files made in Scratch 1.4 and it will only convert to .jar
But I want to convert .sb2 files because I've gotten so attached and used to Scratch 2 that I can't go back

Someone posted that the link contained a virus which is presumably why it was taken down in the first place. Have you tried this?

Yes, it works fine with the files created in Scratch 1.4 (I have only the version of May 22, 2013 - not play sb2, version 2.1 support sb2 ). Converter uses a flash player, but the menu is a mix of Chinese and English.

I just tested it scratch2exe (version 2.2) - works fine, but there are some problems with the interface (not displayed as menu items).

Sctatch2exe support Chinese (default) and English language.
Enable English - last item in last item menu.
