I propose a new rank for Scratchers to earn. (an excuse for new perks 
and less annoyances) This rank would be called Elder Scratcher. The benefits of this rank over Scratcher are:
30 sec Forum Post limit
Extra Cloud Variables (say, 10?)
Larger Project Size Limit
Larger About Me and What I am Working On sections
The ability to choose premade wallpapers for your profile page as well as the ability to ignore users (mute them for only you, manageable on your Settings page)
These abilities and a new rank would reduce annoyances for older Scratchers as well as further distinguish the older and more skilled users from the rest.

I haven't decided whether I'm support or no support. How would you earn this rank? Would it a be a feature that would get abused?

How would it be earned though? Projects? How long they've been on Scratch?As the name implies, a year or more is required (counting by ACTIVITY), as well as 3 mid quality projects.

How can something detect how good a project is? Or does someone have to check everyone's projects and rate them, or it will be determined by amount of views/loves/favourites.

no support. bragging would abound. basically saying you're better. new scratcher is worse then normal, scratcher is normal, and scratch team is the higher order.

no support. bragging would abound. basically saying you're better. new scratcher is worse then normal, scratcher is normal, and scratch team is the higher order.Yes. And Elder Scratchers would reside between Scratcher and ST. The ST are moderators. Few can hope to get that rank, but the ST has to promise not to brag. Make bragging against the rules (i believe it already is) and problem solved.

Or does someone have to check everyone's projects and rate them, or it will be determined by amount of views/loves/favourites.It is determined by how many scripts there are, how long they are, how well they have behaved in the comments and forums, and likely having a featured project will be a criteria.
