Here are my pets at my mom's house.

Bounder, an energetic chocolate Labrador. He's turning 10 this year, so he's getting old, but still has as much energy as he did as a young dog.

Ruby, a German Shepherd mix. My mom and I are her second owners, and we've had her for almost four years now.

Ally, a small black cat. We think she's part Persian because she has some traits of that breed: small size, flat-ish face, large eyes, and small ears. She was a wild cat who turned up at our old house.

Tabby, a big tabby cat with an anxious personality. He was born in our old house on September 23, 2007. He's the only kitten from that litter that we kept. He was very fond of Tiggy, another cat that we had, who lived to be 22 years old. She died a couple of years ago now.

Sammy, an orange-and-white tabby, is our second youngest cat. He will be five years old in April. He was born at my friend's house, and my mom and I adopted him as a kitten the day we moved into our current house. What could be a better housewarming present than a kitten?

Gabby (she is in my profile picture), our youngest cat, is only two years old. She is a torbie, which is a tabby with tortoiseshell markings. We originally got her and her sister as kittens to be mousers in our barn (we have chickens and ducks as well). Sadly, her sister was hit by a car about a year and a half ago, and we took Gabby into the house afterwards so that she would be safe.

I planning ahead on the dog I want!
I'm thinking about naming it something to do with nature. (Like rain, or vine, or something) and I'm thinking about getting a pointer.
OR
A husky
OR
Something else?
Tell me some of YOUR thoughts!

I heard pet store pets are not treated very well.
Is this true?

My step mom's cousin likes naming pets after gemstones. She currently has a black Labrador named Onyx, and sometime wants a dog named Sapphire. As a fan of Steven Universe, I find this trend amusing.

I have 3 pets

Tank: A Goldendoodle puppy who's yellow! He's funny and adorable! (He's also about 2 years) <3

Pheobe (Or Pheebs, as I sometimes call her): She's a grey, close to the black side, cat. She's getting old… Idk what breed she is tho

Hawkeye: He looks like Gabby in Lightingstep's picture, except he's not a tortie, more of a striped cat. (He has a WARRIORS refrence in his name, it was originally meant to be after a superhero, but when I reserched warriors names more, I discovered that Hawkeye was a Warriors name, I was a little shocked! :O)

I also have pets at my dad and step mom's house (yes, my biological parents have been divorced for years). They currently have seven cats ago, although two years, they only had one. Here's how that happened.

Patches, a heavyset, black-and-white female cat, has belonged to my step mom since before she and my dad started dating. Patches was a sickly stray who showed up at her house over a decade ago, and she took her and spent months nursing her back to health. Patches is now a healthy and very happy kitty.

Buddy is a rambunctious, skinny black cat. My step mom and her cousin (same one from my previous post) found him as a small, abandoned kitten, barely more than a week old, in a field near her cousin's house two summers ago. Buddy is now eighteen months old, and he's a rather unusual cat. He greets us at the door like a dog when we walk in, and even knows a couple of tricks.

Abby was a young, feral queen and pregnant with her first litter when she showed at my dad and step mom's house around the same time that they took Buddy in. She ended up having two litters before my step mom had her spayed. Now Abby and her four grown kittens (Libby and Squint from the first litter, and Holly and Felix from the second) live outside of the house. They're technically still feral, but they stick around and are friendly towards people, albeit shy, and my step mom feeds them two meals a day, so we refer to them as our cats. What's interesting about these cats is how much they act like a family. They often go out hunting together as a group.

Libby and Squint are from the first litter, born in either late August 2014, or early September. Libby is tabby-and-white, so she looks quite a bit like her mother. Squint looks similar, but he has less white. His name comes from the fact that he was attacked by another cat when he was a young kitten and lost one of his eyes. It's a little creepy looking at him since he has an empty socket, but I've gotten used to it.

Holly and Felix are from the second litter, born in February 2015. They're half Siberian cat from their father, and they're extremely fluffy. We sometimes even joke that Felix's tail looks like a chimney sweep. Holly is mostly white, but she has a few dark brown patches on top of her head, and her tail is brown as well. Felix is a big, dark tabby.

I have a pet goldfish and one day I accidentally sucked it into a siphon (for clean) and now it has a bloody right eye. I was worried because the fish already has a exposed gill that the thing the covers it had been bitten off. The fish is now doing just fine but swims slower and sometimes miss the food (it just took a bite next to it!). I hope it will get well soon!
