The idea:
People can make ad banners and put them on scratch to advertise their projects. All ads need to be approved before being added.

No support. Scratch is meant to be ad-free. Ads would make the site more annoying and less friendly.

2) No support. Remember that Scratch is not Roblox. You can already use the Show & Tell forum and your signature to advertise. Anyways, I don't want to disable the follow button to ensure a ad-free environment.

We have a few dedicated places for advertising: comment sections of studios, the Show and Tell forums, you can even request others' projects for being featured on the front page. Ads would really distract from the soothing vibe of the site.

I agree. Also, there is a thing called a forums signature.

I think we are happy with the “Show and Tell” section for advertising, for the moment. But more ways to help people find projects that they might be interested in is a good thing to think about.
