I made a project(unshared) that was an endless loop of something, and I wanted it to be my profile pic, so I needed it to be a GIF.

But how could I turn it into a GIF?

P.S. “GIF” Stands for “Graphical Interchange Format”, and is like an animation.

It's only an animation if its an animated gif. Scratch can read them as a series of costumes for a sprite but you cannot export.

You would probably have to download a screen recorder off of the internet. ASK FIRST if it is your parent's computer. I haven't used one, so good luck!

You can record a scratch project for a max. of 60 seconds, and save the recordings to your computer. The button is found as a dropdown from edit button or something at the top of the stage in the editor. After recording, you can find a video to gif converter, and put the gif on your profile picture.

I googled a video -> gif converter, so now when you record your project using File -> Record Project Video, you can then turn it to a GIF by going to http://ezgif.com/video-to-gif.

I made a gif and i used some code and I want it to be my pic but it won't load!

The max. file size for a profile pic is one megabyte.
