On my computer it won't let me add any music. I have to record it from my computer which really stinks. Also how do I download music from Youtube? Can anyone help me?

What file format is the music? Scratch only supports .mp3 and .wav music, and will create blank sounds for everything else.

If you want to download music from Youtube, try using Keepvid. It's a tool for downloading music off Youtube. Also, it either has to be .mp3 or .wav or else it won't work.

There is file size limit.

It won't even allow me to add music from my backpack? If the sounds up all the way and I add music it won't do it! And I put music in my backpack that has been used on other projects!

I'm not really sure, but I think that is because your computer doesn't have that sound installed so it doesn't work.

Thank all of you for helping! I figured it out using all of your suggestions! Turns out I was doing it wrong!
