Unofficial - Scratch 2.0 Compiled For Mobile - Download Now! (iOS and Android)
For those of you asking for Scratch to be made for iOS and Android, look no further! I've got it for both Android and iOS. Simply download the free APK or iPA and install it on your device (installation instructions below). Now you can finally enjoy Scratch wherever you are
Download
Android | iOSInstallation InstructionsiOS (Must be jailbroken)
1. Download Scratch.iPA from the link above.
2. Install AppSync on your device via Cydia
3. Be sure you have iTunes downloaded on your computer.
4. Double click on the iPA file and install it onto your iOS device.Android
1. Download Scratch.apk from the link above.
2. Transfer the APK to your device.
3. Allow your device to install apps from unknown locations (different for some devices)
4. Install the APK using your favorite file manager.
(coming to the app store soon (hopefully))ScreenshotsNotes
If anybody would like to make icons for these apps, feel free! I need some icons of different sizes. 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 128x128. High-res please
The app may not look very good on higher-res Android devices. This may be able to be solved easily, or it may require parts of Scratch to be rewritten, I'm not sure.
Both apps are a little bit buggy, but it'll hopefully let you at least get some concepts started. For an example, I don't believe saving and loading projects work on either device. Still experimenting on other Android and iOS devices though…
For those of you who have a jailbroken iOS device, I'll hopefully upload the iPA to Cydia so you can more easily install the app directly on your device. As for Android, if I can get permission from the Scratch team, I'll upload it to the app store (I already have a developer license). Though, it is open source so permission may not be needed…
Until I can find someone with a developer license, the ipa will remained un-signed and only install-able on a jailbroken device with AppSync installed.
I downloaded it in my fire tablet. I have a question. Can I log-in using my scratch account?

Probably not, because it is based of the open source Scratch 2.0 editor, which the Scratch Team have removed uploading/logging in/cloud variables from.-snip-

No. That is to access the mobile forums, which is a version of the forums made for mobile devices. It still runs in your internet browser. Other than ScratchJr, there are no official apps for Scratch on the App Store or Google Play. i am confused. it says on the bottom of the page to switch to mobile. has MIT made a offical app for this yet?

This is as official as it gets. It's official Scratch 2.0 that's just compile to run on iOS and Android. I didn't write a single line of code. What you're referring to, sounds like a link to a mobile version of the Scratch forums. i am confused. it says on the bottom of the page to switch to mobile. has MIT made a offical app for this yet?

When you think about the fact that there will probably never be an official Scratch 2.0 app, this becomes very convenient. This is as official as it gets. Got some exciting news everyone! I'm working on the possibility of updating the app for Android and hopefully iOS! I've added Android permissions. This means that you'll be able to use your devices camera, and microphone and hopefully be able to save/load your project, and save/load sprites. I may also write up a tutorial explaining how to get your Scratch programs uploaded onto the Scratch website.
I'm also currently messing around with a pinch to zoom feature. This will make things A LOT easier. I have the basics done, just need to make it a bit better.
EDIT: Got pinch to zoom working decently. It's a bit slow, but definitely a lot better than being zoomed out all of the way. My only problem right now, is that you can't interact with blocks while you're zoomed in… It's somewhat of an odd issue, but I'll be trying to fix it over the next couple of days/weeks.

Yus! That sounds awesome! If you could add more features to make this more mobile friendly, that would really be epic! Got some exciting news everyone! I'm working on the possibility of updating the app for Android and hopefully iOS!
Also, here's another way you could improve it- make it so that pressing and holding on the screen brings up right-click menus.
